Molassity reached out to me last month for a collab & I’m genuinely excited to share my findings with you! The first fact I ever saw or read is that they are certified by the USDA & they are THE WORLD’S only organic molasses – how amazing is that?!
Along with tons of other fun facts, (don’t worry, I’ll tell you about them) this molasses is good for you at a cellular level. Which clearly, we all know what that means. Pomegranate is a super fruit, something we all *might* have already known, and it goes to battle for us in so many amazing ways! So buckle up & get ready to super-charge your life!

I’ve seen Molassity be drizzled over ice cream for a decadent super-packed punch, use in a salad dressing (which I’m about to show you!) for an even healthier experience to go along with those greens! I’d go so far to even stir some Molassity into a bourbon drink to make me feel like a healthy super hero, who happens to like bourbon! ;)

· 3 cups Fresh Kale – cleaned, destemmed & torn
· 2 TSP Olive Oil
· 2 TSP Balsamic Vinegar
· ½ cup strawberries OR grape tomatoes, sliced
· ¼ cup shallots OR red onions, sliced thin
· ¼ cup fresh basil, shredded
· ½ small avocado, diced
· ¼ cup spring green onions, to garnish
· 1 burrata ball OR ½ cup cut fresh mozzarella log
· Protein of your choice : Chicken, Shrimp, Salmon?
· ***or you can leave this salad vegetarian!***
· 1 TBS smooth Dijon Mustard
· 1 TBS White Balsamic Vinegar
· 2 TBS Molassity Pomegranate Molasses
· 2 TBS Olive Oil
· Pinch of S+P & Garlic Powder
Clean, destem & tear your kale into bite-size pieces – place in a large salad bowl.
Drizzle over both the Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar (here comes the fun part)
Massage your bowl of kale for approximately 2 minutes.
The kale will absorb the Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar and take on those delicious flavors!
The kale will NOT become soggy or overly wet – hence why the small amounts of liquid. This massaging process helps the kale become more digestible which makes it obviously better for us to absorb all the health benefits!
Hopefully you have made your above selections / choices by now for which direction you want your Molassity Salad to go….trust me, there are no wrong choices.
Assemble your salad in layers – tomatoes or strawberries, then your choice of thinly sliced onion, and then the diced avocado. Then the final layer is your choice of cheese.
Remember – we also eat with our eyes. This salad construction is so easy, so take the extra effort to be kind to yourself and make it beautiful for you to enjoy!
Your protein choice is crucial – whenever I make this salad, I usually do Shrimp or Salmon because it requires little to no effort. I usually cook my protein FIRST and allow it to cool for awhile because who wants HOT ASS protein on their COLD salad that they just made?! Nah. I don’t like wilted greens.
Once your salad is fully assembled to your liking, drizzle on your homemade Molassity dressing! It is perfect to go along with all the bright, different flavors of your salad toppings! The Molassity will bring out the sweetness of the strawberries while the tomatoes will keep true to the Bruschetta classic – the red onion is a welcome punch that every salad needs, and the avocado will be the creamy good-for-you fat that truly takes this salad to the next level.
For an extra dose of decadence, drizzle an extra pour of Molassity straight from the bottle onto your finished salad – YUM YUM!!!
· In a small mason jar with a lid – pour in ALL ingredients.
· Give it a good shake!
· Seriously, shake it for a minute or two.
· The ingredients will combine easily with no mess! :)
This is one of the oldest tricks in the book! People who make salad dressing in a bowl & a whisk….peasants. So much more work. Why? WHY? The mason jar trick will be sure to take over ANY other method you’ve ever used for making a salad dressing on the fly!
It’s summertime. It’s hot out. We are thriving in our summer bodies – come as you are, zero judgement zone! But idk about y’all, something about warm weather makes me want to eat lighter! I want to eat & be able to do outdoor activities without feeling bogged down by food – basically, it’s animalistic. We want to soak up the sunshine & food is our fuel, so we eat accordingly to the sun & it’s amazing yet crazy, seasonal changes.
